RBR.cz installation (English version)

Richard Burns Rally is, after more than a decade, the best rally simulation game around. With the czech plugin, you get a rally platform that is unmatch. I like Dirt Rally, i have fun with Dirt 4 and WRC 7, but none of them gives me the thrill of Richard Burn Rally. 

Installing the game may be a little frustating, so we have this tutorial to help you out.

Lets start by the simple part, rbr.cz installation. The hardest part is avoid hitting the roadside trees.

1.  Start by a new installation of Richard Burns Rally.  Allways install the game in a folder outside the "C:\Program Files" folder. 

2. Update the game, by installing the official patch 1.02  (link).

3. Next, instal the RBR.cz plugin (link).  Extract the folder onto your RBR installation folder. Some antivirus or antimalware could block and delete this file due to a false positive report. You will have to add a exception in your antivirus and/or your firewall software to enable the plugin to work.

4. Visit rbr.onlineracing.cz website and create a new driver profile.

5. Install Zfix (link), extrating z.dll to plugins folder in your RBR installation folder.

6. Install Fixup Patch (link) copying all files to plugins folder in RBR installation folder.

7. Now you can configure your RBR. In the RBR installation folder, open "Richard Burns Rally.ini" with notepad. in this file you can adjust screen resolution. Make sure you run RBR  in window mode,  it will make the game more stable.

8. Next, start RBR, and create a new driver profile with the name mulligatawny. This way you will unlock all cars and all stages.

9. Install NGP (Next Generation Physics) (LINK), by extracting .zip content to RBR installation folder.

10. Now you can install new stages and new cars.

You can also use VDRMInstaller (link) wich can help you in the installation of stages and cars.

11. Thera are some "apps" that can help you customizing the game. Camhack 3.0 and Pacenote Manager are a must have.  More on that in our website tutorials section.

12. If everything worked out fine, you can start rallying online, going in game to

OPTIONS > PLUGINS > RBRtournament.

In order to run on the servers, you have to install cars and stages required to each event.
